WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you arrive, a volunteer will greet you and assist you in finding a seat if needed. We will also give you a connection card, which is our way of getting to know you and understanding how we can best serve you. Fill it out at when it's convenient for you.

If you have children, we'll be help you get them registered at the Children's Ministry table after announcements. Your kids will sit with you for the first worship song and announcement portion of our service. Children can be picked up at the end of service, following a full length time of worship after the sermon.

WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?

We have a dedicated (and background-checked) volunteer team that runs both our Nursery and Children's Church! The Nursery is open from 10:30 am until the end of the service.

Your children will remain with you until the break (after a worship song and announcements), and then 5th grade and younger can go to their classes with the assistance of a parent or attending adult to sign them in at the registration table. One of our dedicated Children's Ministry volunteers will lead you to the appropriate classroom for their age group.

THE SERVICE

Our service lasts about 90 minutes. Here's what you can expect...

MUSIC

Music is an integral part of our worship. Our Worship Team leads us in singing several songs at every service, 2 in the beginning as a call to worship, and 3-4 at the end, after the sermon. We believe that worship is a time that we can enjoy God’s presence and experience His healing power as He meets with us through the Holy Spirit.

TEACHING

At Vineyard you’ll hear about Jesus a lot. Every week one of our pastors, usually Pastor John or Pastor Shane, will share a sermon from the Bible about Jesus Christ, living life practically as a disciple, and application of Biblical truthes. We often preach through a book of the Bible a few verses at a time.

Don’t have a Bible? Grab one at the welcome desk, or download the free Bible App.

RESPONSE

During the Worship we respond to God through:

Communion – First Sunday of each month we invite followers of Jesus to reflect on Jesus’ death on the cross and remember the unity we have in Christ.

Giving - Surrendering our finances to God is a sacrifice of praise and a demonstration of our trust in God's provision.

Singing – Lifting of Hands, etc.   We invite everyone to respond to the Holy Spirit in ways that are meaningful to you as we join one another in praise and worship.

Ministry Time – At the end of most services, we invite folks to receive prayer and ministry. Those who want ministry do so by coming forward to allow trained altar ministers to pray for them for healing or encouragement or for other special needs.

If you’re new, feel free to simply reflect on the sermon and listen to the worship band play. Or, if you'd like to talk/pray with someone, members of our Prayer Team are available at the back of the Worship Center.

FIRST STEPS

The first step to getting involved at Vineyard is to worship with us on a Sunday or Saturday night service. Plan to come back for a few weeks to get a sense of what following Jesus looks like at Community Vineyard.

NEXT STEPS

Once you've settled in and are ready to go deeper, we encourage you to get connected with Community Vineyard  in a richer way.
